What you can expect from working with me:

Passionate

Anyone who has worked with me, knows that I am highly passionate about what I do. Never heard of any boring jobs!

Insightful

My focus is entirely on you and your project. I am thoroughly interested in getting to know you. Reading your face’s best angles is only the beginning!

Authentic

I believe in being authentic all the time and treating everyone equally. We all breathe the same air and share this one world.

fun facts

I thought you might like to know a bit more about my persona before our first contact!
When we meet, I expect you telling me some of your own fun facts. : )

5 LANGUAGES

I am perfectly fluent in English, French, German, Italian, having fun at any dinner party.
Swiss-German is my mother tongue, but then does this really count as a language?

Diploma Work

For my final work in my Bachelor of Fine Arts I worked closely with the legendary Claude Nobs, founder of the Montreux Jazz Festival to design for Atlantic Records the DVD to celebrate their 50th anniversary. My work included content, UI and cover in a time when I had not yet seen a DVD-player! Going through the archives was an absolute mind-blowing experience then, even more now since it has been discerned Unesco World Heritage.

MENTORING

I have been mentoring several professional international photographers to also reach the associate status in the Headshot Crew.

MATCHA, NO COFFEE!

I stopped drinking coffee cold turkey in 2013 after ending in the ER. Despite having been a total coffee aficionado, I have never touched a single drop since. Now, I have that obsession with whisked matcha - a longer-lasting caffeine hit with the bonus of the mood-boosting theanine as well.

Relax in front of my lens

I am known to make everyone feel at ease in front of my camera. offer a laid-back, serene atmosphere during any photoshoot. I read your energy, your body posture and apply my techniques to get you in the zone of the confidence.

NFL

The National Football League flew me and my then-girlfriend straight from college to New York for a job interview as art director. We got picked up by a limo, put in a suite overlooking Central Park! What a first stay in Manhattan! Alas!, I was too junior and too European to fit into this all-american favorite.

SURFING & MORE …

Nothing made me happier than when my daughter started surfing and sharing wave after wave with me! Who knew a girl would be ripping more any boys! Else, I love all outdoor gliding sports where you can feel the wind caressing your skin: wakesurfing, paddleboarding, cycling, snowboarding and skiing. Currently, I enjoy riding my longboard along the lakeside.

YogA, Anyone?

I have been teaching yoga for nearly 20 years, learning directly from the world’ greatest pioneering teachers.
That’s why I give you great tips on your body posture even during your portrait session!

Guest Lecturer

I share my extensive knowledge to Bachelor and Master students of the SAE Film and Gaming Institute to help them understand the process of strategy, creative solutions finding.

My CV: 20+ YEARS of experience

My Origins

I grew up in Bern. Already in high-school I was in contact with Art Center College of Design. More than once I skipped school to attend lectures at the European campus in Vevey, with famous designers, architects, marketing executives and creatives.

My California Years

Shortly after I started studying at Art Center, the european campus was shut down. After the initial shock, it turned out that my move to Los Angeles to graduating from the world-famous school was the very best thing that could happen to me. At first, California was a cultural shock to me. But very quickly, I started to appreciate this true eye opener! I was about to challenging the status quo from structured, somehow limited European thinking, to limitless “anything goes”, and starting to see things more globally.

My Agency Years

Germany’s legendary advertising agency Springer&Jacoby hired me on the spot for a newly created special unit. Assisting closely my Creative Directors and Managing Director, I was given the unique opportunity to becoming the key contributor to retaining business (Beton, Swissquote), working on new business pitches and creating successful communication campaigns. From Hamburg I returned to Switzerland to join McCann-Erickson in Geneva. where I contributed to winning numerous international awards. Later, as a Creative Director I was in charge for two other communication agencies to build their creative departments from ground up.
I got hired by agencies as Creative Director New Business and won 72% of all new business pitches, and a whopping 75% success rate in the financial sector!

My Small Enterprise Years

For the last ten years I was the Director of the marketing & communications for a small family enterprise. Against all odds, I helped it grow by 215% during the financial crisis. We had an arrangement allowing me to continue working on communication projects for a handful of select clients. This period helped me shape my CRM skills, refine my empathy to listening to clients’ requests, understanding SEO and Social Media and always think and act as an entrepreneur. This includes optimising and always staying within budget!

My Photography years

Passionate since young age, I included my own photography skills in the communication projects. During my agency years I had picked up many tips and tricks from directing well-known photographers on big professional shoots.
However, I noticed that most photographers had a hard time directing people. I set out to learn from the world’s best Headshot photographer, Peter Hurley. As one of the very first Europeans I was awarded associate level within the globally operating Headshot Crew of 16’000+ professionals. In 2016 I won the Headshot of the Month competition.

Today: Digital marketing strategy & Brand Communication Strategist

While I have a considerable amount of hands-on experience in the field of Brand strategy, Marketing and Communications, in 2020 I went back to school, graduating in Digital Marketing Strategy from at the prestigious IMD Business school in Lausanne.

People often have a hard time wrapping their mind around the fact that a person need not be limited to a single role in life. I have so many talents to offer which can be a blessing and a curse:
As Creative Director & Brand Strategist I help companies develop strong branding and marketing concepts.
As Photographer I help individuals to look their best in their headshots and corporate portraits.
